• Some 2,193 students have been named to the spring 2025 dean’s list at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the dean’s list, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Local members of the dean’s list are Pat Joseph Aaron, Victor Nicholas Astuto, Justin Lawrence Bonaccorso, Avery Marie Carmichael, Alexa D. Carmichael, Bret William Collins, Ryan C. Dwyer, Kylie Elizabeth Ennis, Maddie Rose Foerst, Tyler J. Glass, Meg Hess, Sarah E. King, Madison Adrianna Martino, William Arthur McQuoid, Alyssa Marie Nagy, Emilie V. Ortiz, Shannon V. Remolde, Croix Thomas Smith, Brendan P. Sweeney, Carly Christine Walsh and Felise Angelique Willard.

Makayla Egolf achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring semester, earning a spot on the provost’s list at Hofstra University. Egolf’s major is Psychology.

• Congratulations to Greyson Skirpan, who was named to the McKendree University (Illinois) president’s list for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the spring 2024 semester.

• The following local students graduated from DeSales University at the PPL Center in Allentown: Carmari Coulter (bachelor of science degree in biochemistry molecular biology); Walaeah Watkins (business administration and marketing); Aislinn McFadden (communication sciences and disorders, magna cum laude); Robert Fredericksdorf (marketing and supply chain management); Erica Lazar (medical studies, magna cum laude); Mariel Sajan (medical studies, cum laude); Brynn Cooney (nursing, cum laude); Jadlyn Domico (nursing); Molly McMahon (nursing); and Shermya Brown-Ancrum (special education).

• Millersville University recognizes students who demonstrated exceptional academic achievement during the spring 2025 semester by earning a place on the dean’s list. To qualify, students must achieve a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher. Local students recognized include Lucy McQuoid, Sarah Howard, Santina Cerquetelli, Kehmar Green, Daniel Whittingham and Ethan Winter.

Regina Albert was among the students recognized for outstanding achievements in academics, leadership and service during Wilson College’s annual Academic Awards Ceremony. Albert earned the Wilson College Nursing Department Award, awarded to a student who has demonstrated continuous support of the nursing department through hard work and efforts that echo the department’s philosophy.

• Commonwealth University congratulates the 2,300 students who were named to the spring dean’s list. Among those named to the list are Matthew Bowes (Bloomsburg campus), Amanda Dean (Bloomsburg), Elizabeth Ehmann (Bloomsburg), Michael Garozzo (Bloomsburg), Carlie Ginter (Bloomsburg), Margaret McMullin (Bloomsburg), Jenna Simon (Lock Haven), Luca Verello (Lock Haven), Cassidy Clarke (Mansfield). To qualify for the dean’s list, the student must have earned a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, in 12 or more semester hours.

Nabila Hussain was named to the spring dean’s list at Hudson Valley Community College (New York). The list recognizes students who have a term average of 3.00 to less than 3.50 and who have completed at least 12 credits.

• Commonwealth University congratulates the more than 800 students who were named to the spring president’s list. Among those named to the list were Kaidence McCormac (Bloomsburg campus), Gabrielle Stewart (Bloomsburg) and Samantha Ryan (Lock Haven). To qualify for the president’s list, a student must have earned a GPA of 4.0 in 12 or more semester hours.

• The University of Hartford announced that Jade Bilinska has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

• Worcester Polytechnic Institute (Massachusetts) announced that Christian Lambie, a member of the class of 2026 majoring in Robotics Engineering, was named to the university’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring semester. The criteria for the WPI dean’s list differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average. Instead, WPI students are named to the dean’s list based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects.

• Hofstra University congratulates the students named to the spring dean’s list for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the dean’s list. Local students who earned placement on the list include Jessica Angelucci (filmmaking major), Sophia Paschall (political science) and Madeleine Thummel (music). ••
