The Five Points Night Market, part of Wawa Welcome America, took place Thursday night in Burholme.

The festivities took place on Rising Sun Avenue, from St. Vincent Street to Cottman Avenue.

Admission was free.

The event featured food trucks, live music, games, cornhole, break dancing, a climbing wall, a juggler, outdoor seating and vendors.

Among those in attendance were city election commissioners Lisa Deeley and Seth Bluestein, state Reps. Sean Dougherty and Anthony Bellmon and City Councilman Anthony Phillips.

Organizers ended many of the activities halfway through the event due to the threat of rain. ••
