• Tracey Morgan has been named to the provost’s list at Troy University (Alabama) for the spring semester. The provost’s list honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65.
• New York Institute of Technology welcomes incoming student Zihan Guo for the fall 2025 semester.
• Nakisha Billa Lewis (degree in early childhood education) and Shane Curran (health science — occupational therapy) were part of the Class of 2025 at St. Francis University.
• Commonwealth University congratulates more than 1,550 students who graduated during the spring semester. Local graduates were Kentavia Baines (Bloomsburg), Kelsey Beck (Bloomsburg), Matthew Bowes (Bloomsburg, cum laude), Grace Overwise (Bloomsburg), Jenna Simon (Lock Haven, cum laude), Gabrielle Stewart (Bloomsburg, cum laude) and Ryan Woertz (Bloomsburg).
• Nearly 18,000 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5. Local members of the list were Shamdin Albrifkani, Dravon Drayton, Osvaldo Rodriguez and Bryan Rodriguez.
• Jingjing Li was among the students recently awarded degrees at Adelphi University. Adelphi held its 129th commencement ceremonies to recognize graduates at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. ••
