CLIP employees worked 12-hour shifts and were assisted by the city Same Day Work & Pay program that included people in addiction recovery through One Day at a Time.

CLIP was founded in 2002 by City Councilwoman Joan Krajewski.

The longtime executive director is Tom Conway.

CLIP is based at 8716 Frankford Ave.
