The Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame announced that the 2024–25 Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will receive the Pride of Philadelphia Award at the 22nd Annual Induction Ceremony, to be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia.
The Pride of Philadelphia Award recognizes teams or individuals whose accomplishments have deeply resonated within the region. This year’s Eagles join a list of past recipients, including the Super Bowl LII champion Eagles (2018), the 2008 World Series champion Phillies and Villanova’s NCAA men’s basketball championship teams (2016 and 2018).
“Moments like this are what the Hall of Fame was built to honor,” said Ken Avallon, president of the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame. “This Eagles team captured the spirit of this city, and it’s only fitting that we recognize them as part of this year’s celebration.”
The Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame previously announced its 22nd inductee class.
