
Parkwood native Mark Fabbi has written a children’s book called Don’t Eat the Trash, inspired by his nephew Louis and niece Lana. The paperback was written under the pseudonym Cubby Hollins, named after Fabbi’s childhood dog and the road he grew up on.
The author described Don’t Eat the Trash as a fun, colorful children’s book that mixes humor with a heartwarming lesson. Written to spark giggles and curiosity, it follows a lovable character who explores the world and learns the importance of making healthy choices. Packed with engaging illustrations and silly moments, it’s perfect for storytime at home, in classrooms or as a gift for young readers.

Fabbi is a graduate of St. Anselm and Archbishop Ryan. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Temple University, his master’s from Drexel and his Ph.D. from Seton Hall.
Today, he is a higher education technology consultant with Anthology (formerly known as Blackboard). In addition, he serves as an adjunct faculty member at Rosemont College (now merged with Villanova University), teaching graduate courses in Higher Education Law, Finance and Budgeting, and Evaluation and Assessment. ••
