Adopt black Barry

Black dogs are most commonly overlooked, but Barry is hoping to be different.

Barry is a 2-year-old, 65-pound sweetheart who arrived from ACCT Philly earlier this summer. He is crate trained, house trained and loves learning new things, especially if treats are involved. Barry is all about his people and thrives on attention, affection and playtime. Barry would ideally do best with older children given his playful energy.

Barry previously lived in an abandoned home with four other dogs, but since being in foster has shown that he prefers his own space. He can be dog selective, however, he’s making great strides with becoming friends with his foster siblings. With proper introductions and patience, he could live with other dogs, given a dedicated adopter. He especially is taking to the smaller ones. Barry would also be happy as your one and only pup.

Barry would make a pretty perfect companion for most households. A home that will play fetch, take him swimming and give him cuddles and love are his top requests

Any questions about Barry, email his friend Kelsey at [email protected]. The adoption application is at https://airtable.com/appfQ4VwNRgl8eJ7Q/shrAeGg1voRANylSz ••
