• Kutztown University has announced 106 student-athletes will represent its football team for the 2025 season. KU appears first in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference’s Eastern Division preseason poll, as voted on by the head coaches. The Golden Bears finished 2024 with an 11-1 overall record and won their second straight PSAC championship, third in the last four seasons. Kutztown opened the season against Assumption. Local players are Richard Paczewski (wide receiver, Archbishop Ryan graduate); Tearran Peete (defensive line, Father Judge); Michael Gambone (offensive line, Penn Charter); and Isiah Thomas (offensive line, George Washington).
• Southern New Hampshire University announced its summer 2025 dean’s list. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 are named to the dean’s list.
