The PGA of America is seeking volunteers for the 2026 PGA Championship, one of golf’s four majors, taking place May 11-17, 2026 at Aronimink Golf Club.
For the first time in more than 60 years, the PGA Championship is returning to the Philadelphia region, giving locals a chance to witness and take part in a historic event as a volunteer. Volunteering provides access to the Championship grounds through a volunteer credential when not working.
“Volunteering at professional golf events has been a part of our lives for decades,” say Janet and Paul Coady, longtime Aronimink Golf Club members and volunteers. “We first got involved in 2003 at the Senior PGA Championship and have returned for every tournament since, helping in roles from managing junior golfers to ensuring safety on the course. Being inside the ropes, watching the best golfers play the course we love, and helping showcase Aronimink to the world has been an incredible experience. We are very much looking forward to being part of the action again next year at the 2026 PGA Championship.”
Volunteer information:
• Adults (23+): Required to complete a minimum of three shifts (about 20-25 hours) and pay $270, which includes Nike volunteer uniform; food and non-alcoholic beverages; official PGA volunteer drawstring bag and pin; and complimentary parking.
• All volunteers receive a weeklong grounds credential to utilize when not working, with access to every day of the Championship.
• Volunteer positions available are in the PGA Shops, in spectator refreshments and in ticket and credential scanning.
Volunteer credentials must be visible and worn at all times while attending the event.
Student volunteers (ages 16-22 as of May 11, 2026) are required to volunteer for at least two shifts (totaling about 12-16 hours).
There is no fee for the Student Volunteer Package.
Each student volunteer receives a Nike golf shirt and baseball cap, food and non-alcoholic beverages, an official PGA Volunteer drawstring bag and pin and free parking.
