In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, more than two dozen self-care bags were donated to patients at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.
The packaged gift bags were distributed to patients undergoing various stages of breast cancer treatment.
Each bag contained a variety of self-care items, toiletries and cosmetic products from luxury brands, along with a handwritten note of encouragement.
The donation was made possible thanks to Beauty Holiday Inc, a Florida-based nonprofit created to bridge the gap between the beauty industry and communities in need.
The nonprofit partners with beauty and wellness brands to donate their excess inventory to women and families experiencing health challenges and other hardships. ••
