O’Neill supporters gather at FOP

City Councilman Brian O’Neill (R-10th dist.) recently held a fundraiser at Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5.

Among those in attendance were state Sen. Joe Picozzi, former state House Speaker John Perzel and Republican City Committee chairman Vince Fenerty.

O’Neill, first elected in 1979, is serving his 12th four-year term.

The councilman is up for re-election in 2027.

In 2023, O’Neill defeated Democrat Gary Masino, 60 percent to 39 percent, winning all four wards in the district, including the heavily Democratic 56th Ward. ••
