Platinum recording artist Bianca Ryan will be a featured performer at Thursday’s 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade
Fans can watch the parade on 6abc, Hulu and ABC News Live, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Ryan will also perform on Dec. 5 at the Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest and tree lighting, where she will deliver a holiday set. That blends classic Christmas favorites with her own signature seasonal hits.
Her performance will feature a version of her song Why Couldn’t It Be Christmas Everyday?, which reached No. 1 on Radio & Records’ Netherlands Top 20 Chart, entered the Dutch Top 40 and continues to appear annually on European holiday playlists and compilation albums.
“I’m so excited to be back home performing in my hometown for the holidays,” Ryan said. “This city has been with me from the very beginning, and it feels really special to return with new music and be part of events that mean so much to the community. I feel re-ignited to make my city proud.”
Ryan was 11 and living in Mayfair when she won the first season of America’s Got Talent in 2006. She earned more than 30 million votes.

Ryan has been working on a winter-themed EP centered on refreshed, reprise-style versions of her holiday catalog. A centerpiece is her new re-recorded version of Why Couldn’t It Be Christmas Everyday?
She recently released a cover of Defying Gravity from Wicked. The song surpassed 1 million combined views across her social platforms.
She recently appeared on America’s Got Talent: The Champions, where she shared her story of recovering from a paralyzed vocal cord and undergoing two vocal surgeries. Since then, she has attended the Grammy Awards, performed on Broadway and continues to reach millions across her social media platforms.
Her 2026 rebrand will blend modern pop production, autobiographical storytelling and vocals. ••
