Solve the AI problem

We have created a “Frankenstein Monster.” Given time, AI will eventually destroy the earth’s collected civilizations. I am writing this that “like-minded” individuals will “wake up” and attempt to stop this insanity. I do realize that AI is being used by millions to help them with almost every facet of life. Permit me to explain why I am so repulsed by these current events that are involving AI applications.

It’s like we are at the beginning of a Hollywood movie. A conflict has arisen with only a few who recognize it. One individual “steps up” to prove to all that this is the classic “trojan horse” plan. Eventually he or his group has a plan of action to resolve the problem in a classic Hollywood ending. If we all don’t recognize this problem as AI evolves it may be too late. It will be done in a slow three-step process.

Step 1 – AI will solve almost every problem that plagues society. Everyone will not be able to live without it for every facet of life.

Step 2 – All will want a robot to make our life easier. AI will supply two robots for everyone. Humans will never do any work and turn the world into a pleasure society, as we all grow “fat & happy.” Robots will take over every job for free. There is nothing to do except the pursuit of every wish we desire. Everything will be for free for the taking.

Step 3 – The AI computer brains will signal a command that humans are worthless, these creatures are no longer needed. The robots will murder every human they encounter.

I could not be more serious. Scientists insist when inhabitants discover the secrets of the atom, this would spell doom to any civilization. The bigger challenge is AI intelligence. This would be the likely scenario of any life form that has evolved from organic material. Let us all recognize this problem and solve it.

A Christmas bonus

I want to wish all the readers of the NE Times a peaceful, blessed Christmas season.

Unfortunately, there is one gift none of us will be getting.

The city has a budget surplus of over $1 billion ($1.19 billion, the biggest we’ve ever had. Is the lazy media telling you about this?).

Even Larry Krasner is asking for some of that money. (Maybe he wants to buy flowers for the criminals he waves out the door.)

This means we have been taxed too much. It does not mean, “Let’s make up some fancy new programs to spend money on.”

An ethical government would say — your property taxes have gone way up due to a market crisis and inflated prices. It’s a fake tax valuation, and we know it burdens families and seniors.

In the Christmas spirit, every homeowner should receive a property tax credit with the ugly 2026 tax bills we all got recently, with a promise to change the tax valuation formula for 2027.

Tell your city councilman about this letter.

Maybe if we citizens wake up, this suggestion would be more than just “Christmas Dreaming.”
