Take 5 Oil Change has opened its first shop in Philadelphia at 2250 Cottman Ave. (at Bustleton Avenue) on the site of a former Exxon.
The new shop features three service bays where customers stay in their cars while receiving an oil change in 10 minutes. Every service includes free tire pressure checks, fluid top-offs and complimentary bottled water. No appointment is necessary.
“We prioritize taking care of our customers,” said Eric Wollenhaupt, Senior Vice President of Franchise Operations at Take 5.
To celebrate its Philadelphia debut, Take 5 Oil Change last week held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, presented Philabundance with a check for $5,000 and gave out cheesesteaks from Steve’s Prince of Steaks.
Among those in attendance were City Councilman Mike Driscoll, Take 5 president Tim Austin and Take 5 Foundation director Jessica Stewart.
Renee Archawski accepted the check for Philabundance.
