Do better, city

Have you tried to pay your city wage tax on Philly’s website? The city website is a pathetic disgrace. We pay billions in taxes and this is the best (worst!) that you can do, Mayor Parker? Your site has to be the worst in the entire country. It is the best, however, in sending people in circles. Maybe it is designed this way. Truly pathetic. Great job, mayor.

Spend money on American-made items

As all of our supporters know, we have placed a lot of effort into promoting the Buy American Made Campaign and urging businesses to feature “Made in America” or “Made in the USA” on their product labels and packaging. It is great to see that a growing number of businesses have responded to this request.

The ads on television, in newspapers, on the internet and on the radio have resulted from America’s consumers speaking up where they shop about the importance of the American-made label. If you work for a company that manufactures in the USA, encourage company managers to join the campaign and promote their products as being proudly made, assembled, distributed and serviced by American workers.

Now that more businesses are part of the campaign and more of our supporters are speaking up and spending more of their money on American-made items, we will see more companies promoting their American-made labels. As this continues we will see more jobs available for American workers from the point of production to the point of sale.

For the present and future well-being of America and American workers, support everything possible that is American made so we can restore competitive American-made products for sale

in the USA, in stores, on the Internet and for sale to countries around the world.

Thanks for your participation. Kindly continue to spread the word to your family and friends.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.
