Help neighbors help you

Democratic and Republican committee person elections will be on the May primary ballot. Your committee people (and maybe some challengers) will be circulating nominating petitions over the next few weeks. All registered voters in your division are eligible to sign. As your lowest-level elected representatives, we are here to help not just at the polls but your first contacts for help from local and state governments. We’re your neighbors, not politicians, with the same issues and problems you may face. So when we knock on your door, clipboards in hand, help us so we can help you. And remember to vote for us; this is our election, not a primary.

Shop Sheetz

It’s about time Sheetz has opened a store in the Philadelphia area. Wawa has needed competition since it started opening gas stations. They put the local competition out of business with cut prices when they first opened. Now their prices are 10 to 15 cents higher than the locals that are left in the area. People get their gas there out of complacency and convenience. Hopefully the competition will do the consumer good.
