Your Senior Savior insurance agency last week opened an office at 8708 Crispin St., in The Shoppes at Pennypack Woods.
YSS also has offices in Langhorne and Bensalem.
The agency provides Medicare plan education, insurance services and retirement and financial planning advice.
Owner and agent Christine Biemuller has 27 years experience. She works closely with senior groups, including the Northeast Council of Senior Citizens and ones based at St. Katherine of Siena and Pennypack Woods. She holds community events and is planning a Senior Prom.
Biemuller is joined in the Pennypack Woods office, formerly a hair salon, by Nigel Andrews, Grace Shakarjian and Dennis Fuss.
The office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with Saturday hours during the busy season of September through January.
Among those at the March 10 grand opening was Brian Murphy, president of the Northeast Council of Senior Citizens. Sean Roche, on behalf of state Sen. Joe Picozzi, presented Biemuller with a citation. Also on hand were Margie Caputo, representing City Councilman Mike Driscoll, and Gina Burns and Zach Henon, representing state Rep. Pat Gallagher.
Visitors were treated to food from Crown Deli.
