Honeysuckle — or Honey, if you’re lucky enough to know her, is a 2‑year‑old, 40-pound Treeing Walker Coonhound who came from a rural shelter scared and unsure, but she’s slowly blossoming into the gentle, loving dog she was always meant to be.
Honey is shy at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes your little shadow. She leans in softly for comfort and follows her person everywhere. Her favorite thing in the world? Stuffed toys — she carries them around like her babies and curls up with them at night.
Honey needs a quiet home with someone who’s around often. She’s still learning to walk on a leash, so she’ll need a secure fenced yard (no electric fences) where she can safely explore. She loves other dogs and would benefit from a confident canine friend. Respectful kids are welcome. too.
