Phillies pitcher Cristopher Sanchez met with car dealer Gary Barbera and the Barbera Bear after leading the team to a victory on opening day.
Sanchez has been driving a Barbera Jeep Wagoneer since October.
After striking out 10 and allowing no earned runs in the win over the Texas Rangers at Citizens Bank Park, Sanchez threw a few pitches to the Bear, autographed a jersey and some baseballs and spoke with some Barbera employees.
Sanchez will pitch again on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. ••
