Looking for fairness

Reader Jay Lipschutz is wondering why there’s no liberals writing to the Northeast Times.

I guess when Mr. Jay Lipschutz says liberal writers, I assume he means the liberal Democrats’ point of view.

Then how come when liberal Democrats Gov. Tim Walz and Ilhan Omar hid the transparency behind the federal funds going to their Somalian community instead to Minnesota’s child care agencies, I didn’t see liberals complaining or commenting on that from the liberal point of view.

Yes, our vets did fight for our freedom, but for the truth and not for the lies to be hidden from us when Walz and Omar hid purposely the fraud from their citizens.

Yes, we do have freedom of speech, but back it up with facts, not spewing out hate.

Celebrating the assassination attempt on Trump and the killing of Charlie Kirk on social media posts from liberal viewpoints is not what Jay’s way to spout liberal views deserve to be published.

Why is it that the liberals’ point of view of Trump’s presidency is so misconstrued in hate, when liberals didn’t bat an eye to Biden’s tenure sitting at the beach, while his staff autopens, or why the FBI hid Hunter Biden’s laptop, but yet Comey went after Trump, and the liberal Democrats constantly wanting to impeach Trump.

Maybe there’s no liberal coverage Jay is looking for because there’s no facts to back up their hatred toward Trump.

Audit TSA

TSA union leaders and city officials want ICE out of the airport. It’s typical of union and city officials blaming the wrong people. They should be blaming the Democrats for holding up Congress. Of course, they won’t chastise their brethren. It’s easier to blame ICE. It’s time to audit TSA after this situation is corrected to see how effective it is. Remember it is a government agency and they are known for their waste and inefficiency. It’s been 25 years since this agency was created to give people in the travel industry jobs they lost because of 9/11. That’s more than enough time for government malaise to set in.
