Student stabs classmates at Lincoln Tech

Two Lincoln Tech students were nursing stab wounds and a third facing criminal charges after a fight during recess at the Torresdale-based school for aspiring auto mechanics.

It happened at about 10:20 a.m. last Thursday on the 4600 block of Linden Ave. Two students, one 20 and the other 42, argued, then fought in the street. The younger man allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the other one in the neck. A third student, 25, tried to break up the fracas but suffered a stab wound of the right arm.

After things calmed down, both injured men were taken to Aria Health’s Torresdale Campus. None of the injuries were life-threatening. Police did not recover the knife.

Police identified the culprit as Nazir Clark-Crooms, of Sharon Hill, Delaware County, and charged him with aggravated assault and related offenses. ••
