The heist occurred at Citizens Bank, 10650 Bustleton Ave., at about 1:05 p.m., the FBI said. The robber approached a teller, presented a demand note, obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a silver sedan, possibly a Chevy Impala.

Authorities described the suspect as black, in his 30s or 40s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium build and thick beard. He wore a pink Polo-brand button down shirt with white stripes, tan pants and a gray baseball cap with the Polo logo embroidered on the front.
