Nazareth Hospital has appointed Lindsay Lion as Emergency Department senior nurse navigator.
Lion has been a nurse for more than 10 years and has worked in healthcare for 15 years. She has experience as a charge nurse in the Emergency Department and as an educator of physicians and patients.
Her job is to facilitate the emergency healthcare experience for Nazareth’s patients aged 65 and older. In her new role, she will call patients who have been discharged from the Emergency Department to ensure they understood their discharge instructions, schedule follow-up appointments and provide medication support.
Lion earned her nursing degree from the University of Texas.
