Pair steal cash register from Wissinoming 7-Eleven

Two opportunistic robbers waited for a Wissinoming convenience store clerk to go outside before snatching a cash register from the business on Oct. 16, police said.

A 29-year-old male employee of the 7-Eleven at 5231 Harbison Ave. went outside to dump some trash at about 2:35 a.m. when he saw two men in black clothing enter the store, go behind the counter and swipe the register. At least one of the crooks had a gun.

The robbers fled in an unknown direction. One was described as white, wearing a black hoodie with gold horizontal stripes across the front, as well as black pants and a black facemask. He had a black handgun. The other suspect was described as white, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and white scarf on his face.
