At about 1:40 p.m., the robbers pulled stockings over their faces, entered the Metro PCS store at 6820 Bustleton Ave. in Castor Gardens, pointed handguns at employees and demanded cash and cell phones. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of merchandise, the crooks fled, running northbound on Bustleton.

Two hours later, the men robbed the T-Mobile at 6024 Ridge Ave. During the heist, the crooks forced employees into a rear office and stole about $1,000 in cash before fleeing southbound on Ridge.

The robbers were described as black and 17 to 25 years old. One is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 175 pounds, the other is slightly shorter and thinner.
