Buddah is a medium-sized male terrier-pit bull mix who just turned 3 on March 14. Unfortunately, he had to spend his big day at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., because his owners moved and couldn’t take him with them. His tag number is A22243254.
The dog is social and loves chasing toys and playing lively games with people.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Terrific Tommy
Tommy is a calm and wonderful tabby. He’s a big, lovable 3-year-old who was saved from living on the streets. He’s in foster care via Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave.
The cat loves attention, laps and kisses. He is fine with kids and other gentle cats.
Tommy is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

Darling Duffie
Duffie is a sweet and playful gentleman who was rescued from an area animal shelter, where he was sent as a kitten because he has a condition that makes his front legs shorter than normal. He is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.
The 2-year-old cat loves toys and a full food dish. He is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
