Release the security report
The security measures in place to protect the governor and his family are treated as protected information.
They didn’t protect the governor so the security report should be released. It’s not like they are are releasing any security protocols because from the looks of the situation there weren’t any. People fell down on the job and should be fired. The public has a right to know what went wrong. We are the ones paying the freight to fix their screw-up.

Will it ever end?
I saw that Philadelphia will be getting more red-light cameras, more speed cameras, the new SEPTA bus-lane cameras (which were not authorized by a state assembly bill), stop-arm cameras and noise cameras even. Does it ever end? Never a mention of best-practice engineering and enforcement being used first, just go right to cameras. This is designed to raise revenue, get people to stop driving and make life miserable if you choose to drive. The know-nothings ignore the many negative side effects of automated enforcement, since these do not fit the narrative.
Now the new thing will be speed cameras in school zones. How will we know for sure that school is really in session and no bogus tickets go out? Many signs in PA are wrong, no lights, etc. What about delays and cancellations? No assurance this will work as planned. Also, the state law said five school zones, not seven with rotating mobile cameras.
Demonizing cars is unproductive, as there needs to be a serious discussion about all modes of transportation. There also needs to be a discussion about getting people who use mass transit, bicycles and walk to start kicking in more money to use the roads and sidewalks. If you lack a car, you can kick in quite a bit of money to pay for transportation, like higher fares.
