Golfing for a good cause
The Northeast Catholic Alumni Association will hold its 35th annual golf classic on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at North Hills Country Club. There will be a buffet luncheon, followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Later, there will be a buffet dinner and awards. Proceeds will benefit the alumni association’s scholarship fund. Bustleton Bengals clothing drive
The Bustleton Bengals will hold their annual clothing drive and “more” on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., at President Street and Conwell Avenue. The Bengals will accept men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes; accessories; household items; soft toys; and car seats and strollers. All donations must be in tied trash bags.
