Fox Chase Cancer Center announced the hiring of Jingxiao Jin, MD, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematology/Oncology. Jin, who specializes in thoracic oncology, will see patients at Fox Chase and Temple Health – Jeanes Campus.
Jin joins Fox Chase following her completion of a clinical fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Hillman Cancer Center. Prior to that, she completed a residency in internal medicine in the clinical scientist track at UPMC.
Jin earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where she was recognized with an Honor in Foundational Sciences. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Duke University, where she was inducted into the honor society Phi Beta Kappa.
Jin has several years of research experience and has been a part of numerous projects that have resulted in publications and presentations at professional meetings. She is also a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Jin’s tenure at Fox Chase began on Sept. 1. ••
