Suspect ID’d, arrested in Mayfair bank robbery

Update: On Feb. 26, police announced the arrest of Dorren Mills in North Philadelphia. He has been charged with three bank robberies including TD Bank at 6635 Frankford Ave. on Feb. 10. He remains a suspect in additional robberies.

Police and federal agents have identified a suspect in a Mayfair bank robbery, but they’re still trying to find him.

Dorren Mills, 43, is responsible for at least five bank heists since Feb. 10, authorities claim. The crime wave began at TD Bank, 6635 Frankford Ave., and continued on Feb. 14 at TD Bank, 1726 Walnut St.; on Feb. 17 at Wells Fargo Bank, 2005 Market St.; on Feb. 19 at Citizens Bank, 121 City Ave.; and on Feb. 20 at TD Bank, 399 Market St.

Mills is known by the aliases Damon Hall, Devon Hall and Darren Mills, police said. He is black, 6 feet 1 inch tall and about 280 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous.
