Onus on the Democrats
Maybe the powers that be at the state Department of Human Services and Shapiro should go back to school and take a civics course. They need 60 votes to pass the budget. All 53 Republicans plus Fetterman voted yea. They needed 6 more votes and the Democrats refused to vote for it. So the onus is on the Democrats to pass the budget. Second of all DHS is a government agency and it should not have any opinion at all. They should shut up and just do their job.

November is American Made Month
Since the year 2014, we have been promoting the month of November as “American Made Month” and we ask everyone to help us promote American Made Month again this year.
We continue to urge our fellow Americans to support America’s businesses and the industries manufacturing and assembling products in the United States of America because businesses can only succeed when America’s consumers purchase their products on a regular basis.
This effort was also started to encourage America’s businesses to promote their American-made products and encourage people to circulate their money on products and services employing American workers.
During the last 11 years, the November “American Made Month” campaign has also helped to encourage businesses that manufacture, assemble, distribute and sell American-made items, to proudly list “Made in the USA” on their packaging, in their stores and on their websites.
We are encouraging businesses making products in the United States, and their workers, to help us promote the Made in the USA label. For more information about our 2025 efforts, visit the front page of AmericanWorkersRadio.com or AmericanMadeMonth.com.
Working together, our efforts always succeed. Thanks for your participation.
Kindly spread the word to your family and friends.
Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Aviator Trump
Al Ulus’ Oct. 22 letter about President Trump’s brokering peace in the Middle East confuses a ceasefire with a peace agreement. They’re different. In fact, the “brokered” ceasefire appears already to be “broke,” as both Hamas and Israel have violated it. The writer suggests that this “artful deal” be added to Trump’s accolades.
I suggest, instead, that the following accomplishments be acknowledged: proudly commissioning and starring in the AI video he released (shortly after the recent No Kings rally) in which aviator Trump gleefully bombs his American citizens ad nauseam with excrement; menacingly deploying the military to American cities with Democratic mayors; applauding the inhumane antics of ICE as they manhandle both undocumented immigrants and American citizens alike; generously “donating” to Argentina $40 billion of our money for who-knows-what reason; purposefully taking a sledgehammer to the East Wing of the White House for his coveted gold-riddled ballroom; and last, selflessly demanding $240 million of taxpayer money from the Justice Department for initiating cases against him (such as the one for not returning classified documents to the government when he left office after his first term).
What a man! What a president! Nobel Peace Prize, anyone?

Greed and power
One more comment concerning the state of affairs regarding America’s political environment.
It appears that too many of our politicians have only two attributes. One is greed and the other is power; with a total disrespect of how they attain it.
Greed due to the love of money over everything else and power for the need to feel superior. As a little lion once stated, it’s good to be the king. If you can’t impress your constituents with your knowledge, speeches, generosity and respect, then you attain your goals at the end of a gun. A biproduct of this philosophy is courage. You tell your followers to do this and put them in jeopardy while you stay safe and secure. A true leader is not a divider but one who gets out in front and says with much investigation and reflection here is what we need to do, follow my example.
Like me I hope that most Americans subscribe to the First Amendment. I always speak of a Thomas Jefferson quote that states, I pledge eternal hostility over every form of tyranny over the minds of men. A perfect saying for these troubling times. Let us all perform actions to ensure we never turn our leadership responsibilities over to a self-proclaimed king who only wants what is best for him. If the current authoritarian extremism continues coupled with a less-than-desired midterm elections, then a nightmare scenario would evolve when martial law is proclaimed. This will be the first step for the collapse of democracy. To express an analogy: Germany 1929 to 1933. Most said don’t worry about the crazy man and his spouting all those hateful messages. Everyone will soon realize how insane he is as his rants are filled with lies and threats. One final thought. If you do choose to vote for the party of this self-proclaimed greatest person of all time you will be in very good company as you join the ranks of every white supremacist, KKK and neo-Nazi member.
