More than 480 students from Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls participated in the school’s annual “Passionately Pink Breast Cancer Walk” on Oct. 29.
Each girl wore a student-designed pink T-shirt and carried a pink sign with the name of a loved one for whom they were walking for or whose memory was being honored.
Following the walk, students gathered on the steps of the school to present a check to history teacher Joseph Anhalt and director of development Colleen Kean, who were both affected by cancer, and sang their alma mater. ••
