Masked man robs Parkwood beer distributor

A masked man with a knife robbed a Parkwood beer distributor last month. Police have released video of the heist in hope of identifying the bandit.

The crime occurred on Feb. 24 at Beer Town Beverage, 12345 Academy Road. At about 8:50 p.m., the robber entered the store, pulled a knife on an employee and demanded money. After the worker surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash, the crook fled on foot. He was last seen heading eastbound on Academy Road.

The robber was described as white and 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a blue jacket with gray sleeves, black pants and a black ski mask. Visit the Philadelphia Police channel on YouTube.com to view the surveillance video.
