About Sarah
I grew up in a Green Bay household where Packers football was religion. My dad’s had season tickets since before I was born — I’ve been to Lambeau in January when it was -15°F, and I’d do it again tomorrow. Started tracking family picks in a spreadsheet “for fun” three seasons ago. By the end of year one, I was beating everyone by 8%. That’s when I got serious.
I’m a Wisconsin native now based in Chicago, working in marketing at a craft brewery during the day. Played soccer through college (D3 at UW-Eau Claire), so I understand athlete psychology and game preparation. Football betting became my thing because I genuinely love the sport — the strategy, the matchups, the way a single play can change everything.
My approach is research-heavy. I track weather, injury reports, coaching tendencies, and line movements. I’m not looking for “hot picks” — I’m looking for value where the market is wrong. NFL and college football only. I don’t pretend to know other sports well enough to bet them seriously.

What I Don’t Cover
Basketball, hockey, baseball — I watch them casually but wouldn’t bet them seriously. Same goes for props and same-game parlays (the math is usually terrible). I focus on spreads and totals where I actually have an edge. If it’s not football, I’m probably not your source.
The Personal Stuff
When I’m Not Writing
- Lambeau Field pilgrimages (at least twice a year)
- Running — Chicago Marathon finisher
- Craft beer exploring (job perk)
- Fantasy football commissioner, 14-team league
Industry Pet Peeves
- “Expert” picks with no track record
- Overhyped primetime lines
- People who bet parlays and call it strategy
- Weather-related excuses from dome team fans
“The line isn’t set by idiots. If you think you’ve found an obvious winner, ask yourself what you’re missing. Then bet smaller than you planned.”
