• Muhlenberg College political science major Gabriella Vera Bartch is participating in the Lutheran College Washington Semester program in Washington, D.C. this spring. While there, Bartch will intern with the National Organization for Women.
• Carson L. Salvatore was among students who were added to the University of Scranton dean’s list, which recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better to make the list. Salvatore is a graduate student chemistry major.
• More than 1,750 students were named to the University of Scranton’s dean’s list for the 2025 fall semester. The dean’s list recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better to make the dean’s list. Local students are Kaitlyn M. Sonnie, a freshman criminal justice major; Kira E. Marino, a senior biology major; Samantha R. Sonnie, a senior journalism and electronic media major; Jenna M. Gontz, a sophomore nursing major; Margaret M. Phillips, a sophomore public health major; Aneliese M. Ewerth, a junior communication sciences and disorders major; Iris Sanchez, a junior health administration major; Keri L. Gontz, a senior nursing major; Nicole Lynn McLaughlin, a senior health administration major; and Christopher L. Zampirri, a freshman accounting major.
• The University of Rhode Island announced that Molly McDonagh has been named to its fall 2025 dean’s list. To be included on the dean’s list, students must have achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.
• Colin Kearney, a Muhlenberg College student, is studying abroad in the CEA CAPA Dublin: Study in Dublin program in Dublin, Ireland this semester. Kearney is majoring in finance.
• Carlie Ginter was inducted as a student scholar into Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg’s Frederick Douglass Institute for Academic Excellence.
• Manor College Blue Jays student-athletes made the fall 2025 dean’s list. Students on the dean’s list carried a minimum of 12 academic credits while earning a 3.5 or higher GPA. • Michael Tallarida has been named to the dean’s list at Hamilton College (New York) for the fall 2025 semester. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale. Tallarida, a senior majoring in economics, is a graduate of Haverford School. ••
