Lilly is a skinny young mama dog who came as a stray to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A21637945.

The dog is a terrier-pittie mix under 40 pounds. She loves people and will sit for treats. She knows how to walk on a leash politely and seems to like other dogs.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Lily Jane wants to come home with you

Lilly Jane is a sweet, petite, young golden-patched tabby.

The cat is beautiful and mellow. She likes hanging out with human friends.

Lilly Jane is in foster care via Forgotten Cats. She is spayed and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

Nadia needs you

Nadia is a female tabbico (calico colors and tabby stripes) who was found huddled in a window well with her two young kittens. She is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.

Now that her kittens are safe and grown, Nadia is looking for a permanent home. She is a laid-back kitty who gets along with dogs, other cats and children. She’d make a great companion.

Nadia, who is 3½, is spayed and current on vaccines, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
