The St. Patrick’s Day Parade took place on Sunday, kicking off at 16th Street and JFK Boulevard and ending on the 500 block of Market St.
The theme was 250 Years of Irish Contributions to America.
Archbishop Nelson Perez celebrated a Mass in the morning, before the parade, at St. Patrick Church, 20th and Locust streets.
The grand marshal was Dan Hilferty.
The Ring of Honor consisted of Jim Carr, Jim Donovan, Eileen Coyle Henry, Chic Kelly, Pari Livermore, Mark Lynch Jr., Una McDaid, John McGillian, Mary Kate O’Neill and Maureen Smyth.
The parade will be rebroadcast on Tuesday, March 17, at 9 a.m. on Channel 3. ••
