We can add this $1 rideshare tax to all the other taxes for the school district, such as the extra 2% sales tax. It will be going into the deep hole in the sea called the Philadelphia school district to never be seen again. How about something different. A top-to-bottom audit of the district. Let’s find out if we really need three people doing a two-person job. It’s time to put the district as it is out of its misery and make it accountable.

Why, Why, Why
Following the 9/11 attacks on the United States in 2001, ICE and Homeland Security were created to protect America’s national security and public safety to regulate our borders and immigration.
Long before our Homeland Security was created in 2002, the Islamic Republic of Iran had its own Homeland Security called Artesh founded in 1979, designed to again “protect the nation’s borders and secure the Iranian Homeland.” Sound familiar, and with an army of 350,000.
So why are we any different than what Iran is and has been doing since 1979?
But all our elected officials want to do is disband and eliminate ICE.
Why is Tom Homan, designated as President Trump’s border czar, getting so much flak as head of ICE now, when Homan was director of ICE under Obama’s administration, and was awarded the Presidential Rank Award in 2015 for his “effectiveness with illegal immigrant deportations,” by Obama himself.
Why did the Obama administration secretly airlift two cash payments totaling $1.3 billion to Iran in 2016, while Obama is pandering and totally ignoring, as the world witnessed on video, the beheadings of American soldiers by ISIS, when Trump is being criticized for going after Iran’s evil proxies of ISIS, Hezbollah, Houthis, Hamas and al-Qaeda.
Why did we have a mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh in 2018?
Why did we have masked terrorists kill peaceful concertgoers on Oct 7 in Israel?
Why did we have a deranged man crashing into a synagogue in Michigan and opening fire into Jewish worshippers?
Why did Dylann Roof open fire into a Charleston church and kill black parishioners?
Why do we have back-to-back mass shootings at elementary schools on innocent children by transgender people?
Why? Why? Why?
Because our society has turned into hate and evil, and the hateful, political rhetoric coming from our politicians, social media and agents of Hollywood does not lessen the burden, it intensifies into the violence we see now in our cities and on our streets.
Sure they call it their freedom of speech, but when you have Robert DeNiro publicly declaring he wants to punch Trump right in his face, Madonna wants to blow up Trump in the White House, and Kathy Griffin holds up a severed head of Trump, these messages from public figures do incite hate and violence.
And that’s why we have hate, violence and chaos.
