Man charged with possession of child porn

A Castor Gardens man last week waived a preliminary hearing on charges that he downloaded and shared child pornography via his personal computer.

David Adduci, 35, of the 2200 block of Knorr St., is scheduled for a Common Pleas Court arraignment on Oct. 7 and remains free on $25,000 bail.

Authorities arrested Adduci on Aug. 28 following an eight-month investigation by agents from the Pennsylvania attorney general’s office into the online sharing, downloading and distribution of sexually graphic images of minors. Adduci allegedly downloaded images of children as young as 3 engaged in sexually graphic activity. Adduci was charged with possessing and distributing child pornography. He has not been charged with producing or manufacturing child pornography. ••
