Bustleton TD Bank robbed

A brazen robber burst into a Bustleton bank on Thursday afternoon and threatened to “shoot the place up” before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the Philadelphia FBI office.

Investigators seek the public’s help in identifying the robber.

The crime occurred at 12:48 p.m. at TD Bank, 9996 Haldeman Ave. A white man wearing a blue fitted baseball cap and a blue, long-sleeve T-shirt entered the bank, handed a demand note to a teller and made his verbal threat to the teller, who did not see an actual weapon. The robber obtained cash and fled on foot. He was last seen heading south on Haldeman Avenue.

The robber was further described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall and stocky. He also wore beige pants and black sneakers. Call the FBI at 215–418–4000 to report information about the case. ••
