Pharmacy robber strikes again

A man who fits the description of the bandit who robbed more than a dozen Philadelphia-area drug stores got prescription drugs and cash from the Somerton Pharmacy on the 10800 block of Bustleton Ave. Thursday evening.

Police said the man, who was armed with a black handgun, went into the store at 6:59 p.m. Oct. 25 and demanded pills. He also got $250 before fleeing the store, said Officer Jillian Russell, a police department spokeswoman.

Russell said the robber was a white man who stood 5 feet 8 inches tall. He wore a black coat and black pants. There were no injuries. ••
