The grand marshal will be U.S. Army Col. Sam Hayes, commander of the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, Horsham Air Guard Station.

The event is named in memory of Gen. Friedrich Wilhem von Steuben, who trained the Continental Army at Valley Forge and aided the American colonies in winning the Revolutionary War.

Before the parade, there will be an ecumenical service at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, at Cottman Avenue and Battersby Street.
