Stepping up to help others

Christ the King School’s girl scout Brownies hold their first Alex’s Lemonade Stand Fundraiser at the school on Friday. The girls will earn a batch after the event and leader, Michelle M. Murphy-Rozanski, says she hopes the girls will learn about giving back to the community and spending time for a cause they believe in rather than just for themselves. So far, they have recieved $380 from donations on their website, as well as $860 from lemonade stand at school, June 1, 2012, Philadelphia, Pa. (Maria Pouchnikova)
