Police probe death of man in car

Foul play is not suspected in the death of a man whose corpse was found inside his parked car near a clothing store on Sunday, a Philadelphia police spokeswoman said.

Authorities have not released the identity of the 33-year-old man, whose body was discovered at about 1 p.m. behind the K&G Fashion Superstore, at 7201 Roosevelt Blvd.

According to a police source, the man was in possession of a hypodermic needle. An official ruling on the cause of death is pending the results of a medical examination and toxicology analysis, which could take weeks. ••
