Police are investigating a Sept. 26 shooting in Frankford that left a 27-year-old man with a stomach wound.
The victim, whose identity was not released, arrived at Aria Health-Frankford at 8:19 that night, according to a police spokeswoman. He had been brought there by a civilian vehicle and was admitted to the hospital in stable condition.

He later told investigators that the shooting occurred on Tackawanna Street near Foulkrod. He said he didn’t know the gunman. Police have released no information about suspects or a motive. ••
