Police cruisers collide in Mayfair

Two officers suffered minor injuries.

Two Philadelphia Police cruisers were involved in a collision in Mayfair on Friday.

The crash happened at the intersection of Unruh and Brous avenues at 12:44 p.m. Police said one officer was traveling north on Brous while responding to a call when the vehicle collided with another police car that was traveling east on Unruh.

Both officers sustained minor injuries and were transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.

Police said one of the cars also collided with a civilian vehicle going south on Brous. That person was uninjured. ••
