A 30-year-old woman died this weekend after falling into the creek.
The body of a young woman was found in Pennypack Creek this weekend.
The 30-year-old white female was retrieved from the creek 10 a.m. on Sunday upstream from Frankford Avenue.
According to Action News, the woman and her boyfriend were in a storm drain when a rush of water knocked them both into the creek. The boyfriend was able to pull himself out around Sandyford and Ryan avenues and call for help.
Police say she most likely passed away Saturday night when she fell into the water.
