Lover boy Romeo and mama Anika looking for homes

Romeo is a 70-pound, 18-month-old, well-mannered boy.

The dog is charming and loving to everyone he meets.

Romeo is in a foster home. He walks well on a leash and is crate/house trained.

Romeo can be choosy about his friends, so it is best if he is the only pet in the home.

To meet Romeo, fill out an application at oneloveanimalrescue.org. ••

Anika was found with her three babies outside of a pet store in the summer heat, which is no place for a new mom. Now safely indoors, in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue, she is enjoying life lounging in the sun and any place with a soft cover.

While being pet, she likes to clean her foster mom, a show of affection and appreciation. She is fostered with other cats and a small, 20-pound dog. She has not met children at this time.

Anika, 18 months old, is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

For more information, to fill out an application, to volunteer at one of NAR’s three Pet Valu locations or learn about the seventh annual Pastabilities for Pets on Oct. 12, visit nar.rescuegroups.org. ••
