A 43-year-old bicyclist died Wednesday morning after being hit by a car in Tacony, authorities said.
Just after 6:30 a.m., officers responded to the 4800 block of Levick Street, and found the man, who was not identified, after his bicycle collided with a car. He was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he died at 7:18 a.m., police said.

Authorities said the driver remained at the scene. The investigation into the crash is active and ongoing with the department’s Accident Investigation Division. ••
