A generous donation: Verizon donated $5,000 to St. Martha Elementary School as part of the state Educational Improvement Tax Credit. Verizon’s Ed Wesolowski (left) and Frank Buzydlowski (right) presented the check to St. Martha’s pastor, the Rev. Al Masluk, and principal Karen Donofry. City Councilman Brian O’Neill was also on hand.
